Well earlier on I was watching a flick titled ‘Just Like Heaven.’ I remember the first time I watched this with my aunts and cousin while my mom and my grandma were having a snore competition right beside us. We were all sleeping in my Uncle’s living room – well the only reason for that was because my uncle just moved in and the house wasn’t really furnished yet... Anyway, I remember how we got to watching the flick, while we were all having dinner we watched Employee of the Month followed on by Into the Blue. Then I remember watching Jus Like Heaven around 3 in the morning with my aunt and cousin until 6 in the morning when we actually went to bed. It was hilarious because when we were just about to go to bed, my uncle came down about to go to work or something. I remember only sleeping until about 9 the same morning and only managed to catch some snooze on the drive back to

As I recall – today (or more or less, tonight) I am supposed to be confined at the hospital for two nights before my surgery. Friday 27th June 2008: What a day today!
First of all, I didn’t quite get up THAT early – we were supposed to go to the beach this morning but then I realised that I was actually going to go to school today and that by going to the beach, things would get too hectic. There are several reasons as to why I wanted to go to school today –
a) drop off/pay Tembourong trip for August,
b) buy yearbook,
c) get teacher’s signatures for the leaving sheet thingy, and finally
d) watch final assembly!
Wow – the school is so totally empty without the Year 11’s and Year 13’s. Elvis Holmes closed the assembly with words of wisdom from Mr. Canterford – “Have a good holiday” I’m for sure not going to have a ‘good’ holiday...
After going to school, we headed straight to Sushi Tei with Shey for lunch where we got very, very full! After that, I parted with my family to join Shey for a movie at the Mall. We watched ‘Get Smart’ – funny, but seriously, Steve Carrell and Anne Hathaway do not make a good couple. And why did Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson have to die in the flick? Damn it! Overall it was a great movie – sorry to those if I’ve ‘spoilt’ it in a way.

‘Silly Lily’ by Bunkface is currently playing on Hitz.tv – I must say that for a Malaysian band (correct me if I’m wrong), they have a nice beat to the song, though I find the music video totally weird. Anyway, back to reality – last night was family game night (that’s just what I call it) and we played Monopoly. My little sister Alyssa was the first to get bankrupt, and sadly I followed on while my Mom won.
Woke up early this morning – heck the earliest since summer vacation started and tomorrow will be even earlier. I won’t tell you why, just watch out for tomorrow’s blog entry. We went out to Gadong for some Hong Kong Dim Sum at Food Zone and headed to Supa Save before going home to buy some of my favourite Dole Golden Pineapple – simply juicy and delicious. It is at Supa Save where my Mom spotted DJ Izan and had us approach her. She looked awfully pissed and so I was frightened to even appoarch her. She shook our hands thinking that that’s what we wanted from her. Note to self – never approach a celebrity (Izan’s not even a celeb) when they’re doing their shopping – unless of course the celebrity is David Archuleta♥ or Johnny Depp! Now we can make them an exception along with others as well...

John and Bea have been long friends ever since the day Bea saved John’s life where he slipped off some rocks by the river. On the other hand, John now has to decide – will he let his best friend be happy with her Prince Charming, or will he fight for the love that has kept him alive all these years?
Sam knew that he was up for a competition to win Bea’s heart over John’s, and he did everything he could. But the one thing Sam couldn’t do was make Bea laugh the way John always made her laugh. For this he always doubts Bea’s happiness. Bea has to then lie about it for she was truly in love with Sam. Or is she?
One night, Bea sits by herself crying. John appears and talks to her. Bea; “Its made me realise how much I’ve missed you these past few days.”
John; “I never had the guts to tell you this, but…I love you Bea.”
Bea; “You do?”
John; “But you know, don’t worry about it, you’ve got Sam, and you two make a perfect couple.”
John returns to the

Bea cries, and her sister is there to comfort her, telling her she has to make a decision to choose between “the man of her dreams (Sam) or the man who has been through so much with her (John).”
Months passed, and Bea was invited to tour
Sam; “Do you love me?”
Bea; “I have always loved you, but…”
Sam; “Please, I want a yes or no answer, I deserve it.”
Bea; “I tried to love you, but it’s made me realise, that I’ve missed John so much, and I love him too.” The sad and angry Sam left, leaving Bea alone in tears.
The next day, Bea meets up with Sam. Bea; “I’ve been looking for you, your band member said that I might find you here. I know how hard it feels, but you deserve to know the truth.”
Sam; “Don’t worry about it; I knew I was up for competition between John. It hurts really to know that the girl I’ve only loved is dumping me. But I guess I just have to accept the fact that I’ll never love another as much as I have loved you. Goodbye Bea.” Sam gives Bea a hug, and walks away.
Bea returns to John and she tells John how much she loves him too.
Bea chose to lose the LOVE for the FRIENDSHIP.

Well, so far nothing interesting happened. I was back on the jump rope today with 529 jumps within a fifteen minute period and I must say, I don’t think I’ll be able to hit my target of 1000 jumps by the end of the week.
I forgot to mention this yesterday but, good luck in India Abhishek! Sorry I couldn’t come to send you off yesterday – like I mentioned, I had a bad night the night before. Just remember to keep in touch and visit us when you can!
I was able to finish the last Volume of Walang Kapalit last night and I must say that it’s a really good series though I thought the ending could’ve been a bit happier, possibly ending with Miguel and Vanessa’s wedding to bring back all the characters together...

Years lapse into painful memories as Noel and Melanie fight to make their marriage work with only the prison as their venue to get together. Justice finally comes sweet though late – Melanie is vindicated but Cynthia had raised Noel and Melanie’s son, Ernest, as her own.
What is supposed to be a joyous homecoming for Melanie actually ignites new conflicts. Their son recognises Cynthia as his mother and refuses to warm up to his real parents. Cynthia, on the other hand, is not willing to enlighten Ernest unless Noel gives in to her whims.

With the soap opera out of the way now – I’ve decided to lessen my time spent online and in front of the TV to somehow ‘prepare’ for IB which means, practising my French more often, doing some art stuff and researching into EE in Art. Yes I know – a little too early to start? I just want to make use of my summer. Oh yes – and I need to exercise more, I’ve been getting chest pains ever since holiday started.

Friday and boy what a day I had yesterday. It goes like this...
Yesterday as usual, I was watching Volume 7 Walang Kapalit and about an hour of Volume 8. When 11PM finally came, I was feeling a bit drowsy and decided to go to sleep. My sister and I headed up the stairs when we heard some pots banging in the kitchen as if someone had moved them. Of course, my sister and I were scared for we know that Mom and my other sister were already upstairs and there’s no one else but us four. Frightened, we ran up the stairs and go ready for bed. Moments later the power went off and I started to panic – all sorts of things were going on in my head; the neighbours had power; I was just us. I started to think that maybe someone broke into our house since my sister and I heard noises in the kitchen. I was seriously so scared – I imagined that this would be such a tragic end for all of us. But then, all the panicking came to nowhere – my mom forgot to buy electric, so we were cut off. We spent the night being hot and feasted on by blood-sucking mosquitoes – I couldn’t sleep at all. Finally 2AM came and I was fast asleep. Woke up at 9AM the same morning and we headed of straight to Bandar. No jump rope this morning – I was too sleepy. And what a night I had – thinking that I was actually going to die with my paranoia. I seriously have to stop watching soap operas - I think that's where I'm getting all my over-the-top scenarios from...

Thursday and as usual I had a hit with the jump rope this morning.
I must say, I wasn’t really in an active mood in the morning so I didn’t improve the number of jumps I could’ve possibly done – 534 jumps; more than a hundred less than yesterday. After that my mom took us out to have brunch at Gadong for some Hong Kong Dim Sum – YUMMY!
Okay, so I’ve finished Volume 6 of Walang Kapalit about half an hour ago and have just started watching Volume 7 – I’m nearly there! I’m going to be so upset when I finish watching it, no more telenovelas! Oh well, I’m going to repeat some of the older ones just to kill time when I’m at home. I’m not going to be such an addict; after all, I’ve watched the other already. So here’s the Volume 6 review:

Another thing that I want to add to today’s post is something I found while browsing the net (I know, I have nothing better to do, LOL). I was browsing my Friendster account and I found numerous blog entries that I have written in the past. The two below really caught my eye and made me laugh my head off! I was so gullible back then!

Referring to the line "there are plenty more fish in the ocean."
Merely some people would take this as an advice, or a line just to make the person feel better. For me? I have no idea. So let’s evaluate.
You sit on your long boat going fishing with whomever, and all you catch are small skinny fishes that wouldn't even keep you full for an hour. And then suddenly you catch a fish and man it's like THEE most perfect catch of the day. Are you sure? Are you sure that deep inside that that fish is nothing but a pathetic piece of meat that would just making you sick, like food poisoning for example?
It’s not just about throwing a line and catching some random fish. It’s about throwing YOUR line and catching a fish that you know you'll have for keeps. And not just some other fish to throw back into the ocean and see which other loser would wind up with it and gets thrown back into the ocean again.
It’s not about catching a fish and keeping it until it starts to stink. It’s about catching a fish and knowing that it would never rot, never stop *loving you*
To know if the fish is worth keeping:
If the catch of the day really is YOUR catch of the day, you should know.
1. Fishes who bite you when you're trying to unhook it from your line, you know already that it'd just be one of those who'll say "bug off bxtch. You’re not cool enough for me."
2. Fishes who come along and give a sign for you to hurry up and unhook them are probably just trying to say "come on, and I’ll show my friends that I’m dating this new hottie at school."
3. fishes who wait patiently for you to unhook them, but then when they have the chance the jump back into the ocean, it's just another way of saying "yeah, there's this other person whom I want to be caught by, but I’m glad to stay friends."
4. Fishes who wait in your hands for you to unhook them and don't bite, don't hustle, don't avoid are worth keeping, and it's just another way of the fish saying "I love you."
I, how should I say... managed to catch a fish, but turned out to be fish number 3.
HAHA. Well, all I could say was this. There was another time when I went fishing and this particular fish was like king of all fishes, it was perfect, only its attitude was a bit of a problem. Okay I caught the fish. Okay I was able to spend some time with it. But in the end, though it never said it out loud, I know that deep inside that fish it was trying to find a way to say bug off bxtch. You’re not cool enough for me. but I guess all fish are not brave. So fxck that fish. Fxck fish number 1. And this was way before I laid eyes on the fish who turned out to be fish number 3...

Wednesday is here!
I started my day with the usual works on the jump rope – 650 jumps today!
And needless to say that I’m once again stuck at home with nothing better to do than slum around in front of the television watching Tagalog soap operas. I must admit that I managed to finish the whole of Volume 4 yesterday and even finish half of Volume 5. This morning after lunch I finished Volume 5 and have now just started Volume 6 – I’m such an addict seriously. I’m hoping to be able to get out of the house this Friday with my friends and just chill and hangout at the Mall.

Though moving on towards separate paths as what they believe is for the best, Noel and Melanie line real soul mates, end up sharing almost the same ordeal – an unhappy marriage. Ronald is a vicious husband to Melanie, while Cynthia’s insecurities provoke Noel’s essentially good nature.

It’s Tuesday!
Guess what? I thought yesterday was Tuesday...
Anyway, nothing special or exciting is going to happen today,
Just going to be doing the same things I did yesterday.
433 jumps on the jump rope this morning and hope to reach 1000 by the end of the week.
I’ll be spending most of my time in front of the TV and computer – you know the usual Tagalog telenovelas which by the way I have finished watching Volume 3 of Walang Kapalit. What can I say? I’m a real addict – and plus, it’s like only four hours per volume. If I watch with no stops I can definitely watch 2-3 volumes per day. But I won’t do that – or else in the end I’ll have nothing left to watch.
So here’s the outline of Volume 3 (I haven’t yet to start Volume 4):

Agnes succumbs to a heart attack and Cynthia deliberately withholds the information from Noel, once again, creating a rift between Noel and Melanie.

Melanie sees the death of their parents as punishment for her illicit love affair with Noel and she breaks off with him. But they remain a family as Noel is appointed her legal guardian.
Melanie graduates with honours but another misunderstanding during her graduation party results in an impulsive decision to marry Ronald (Bobby Andrews).

It’s Monday – the start of a new week and not to mention the first week into my oh-so lifeless summer holiday (for now)... But I doubt my summer will get any better that hanging around the Mall with friends. It’s not that I’m complaining, I just want adventure and new experiences for the long summer.
So I woke up at 9am and did a little bit of exercising with the jump rope – 321 jumps in a period of 15 minutes today and I plan to improve my jumps as time goes by. I seriously crave to go to the beach sometime during the holidays with my friends and watch the sun set – I would want to watch the sun rise, but then I would want to get up that early and plus, I’ve been there and done that (watching the sun rise that is). To cut long story short, I was on a retreat with my Confirmation Class at a beach resort in

Sunday...
Well, I’m at home relaxed in front of the television – well was but now I’m blogging. I might say that there are actually a lot of good movies showing. When I say good I mean you know something that I would actually sit down to and watch, for example, the was Take The Lead on HBO around 11am this morning which I believe is now followed by The Da Vinci Code. Switching channels there is then The Pink Panther on Star Movies which just finished and now is showing It’s a Boy Girl Thing. Oh well – I spent my morning/afternoon watching movies, and of course my Sunday would not be complete without watching CSI Supreme Sunday from 12:00 – 3:00PM. Well okay, I only wait for CSI:NY – it’s the best for me! Plus their on Season 4 now (on TV) that is – yes I’m not rich to buy the whole seasons on VCD/DVD.
I guess this is practically how my summer is going to run for the next 2½ months – oh joy. Well, I’m currently watching a new Tagalog soap opera Walang Kapalit – it may not be new in the

Noel (Piolo Pascual) and Melanie (Claudine Barretto) are siblings but are not related by blood. That’s because Noel’s father, Ariston (Edu Manzano), and Melanie’s mother, Agnes (Dina Bonnevie), are married.

Bleh – I’ve certainly FAILED my Add Maths Exam! There were a lot of calculus questions (which we haven’t even touched on) and I just know I’m going to fail – to be exact I’ve only about answered 30 out of the 80 marks, and I can’t guarantee myself that all 30 are correct... Oh Shit – and I’m not even bothered to revise for Paper 2 tomorrow.
