Or are you willing to lose the FRIENDSHIP for LOVE?
John and Bea have been long friends ever since the day Bea saved John’s life where he slipped off some rocks by the river. For long they’ve stuck together as best friends forever; from childhood memories until the present day. After all these years, John never had the courage to tell Bea how much he loves her.
Bea was your chubby-like girl during childhood and was teased by many boys among her classmates. But there was one who cared for her, and that one was Sam. Sam defended Bea and gave her a ‘dog tag’ and said; “this is a sign of our friendship, and no matter where we are those boys who teased you will never harm you for this tag will remind them of me…”
Twelve years later, Sam is now a Famous Singer touring the world while John and Bea keep their friendship going. Bea always remembered Sam for he was in the channels, but does Sam remember Bea? Bea is in love with Sam; but does Sam feel the same way?
One day in Bea’s flower shop and Sam on the television, Bea hears that he’d be touring the
Sam aids her as he says; “Are you alright?”
Bea; “Sam it’s me don’t you remember?” Sam confused. Bea holds up the ‘dog tag’ that was given to her by him in those childhood times. Sam still confused. Bea then shows her smirking and chubby face.
Sam remembers; “Oh my God! Bea is that you?”
Sam and Bea express how much they love each other, Sam; “This is the church of where my parents got married, and hopefully this is where I’d like to get married.”
Bea; “Oh really? Who’s the bride?”
Sam; “I was hoping that you could be my bride…”
On the other hand, John now has to decide – will he let his best friend be happy with her Prince Charming, or will he fight for the love that has kept him alive all these years?
Sam knew that he was up for a competition to win Bea’s heart over John’s, and he did everything he could. But the one thing Sam couldn’t do was make Bea laugh the way John always made her laugh. For this he always doubts Bea’s happiness. Bea has to then lie about it for she was truly in love with Sam. Or is she?
One night, Bea sits by herself crying. John appears and talks to her. Bea; “Its made me realise how much I’ve missed you these past few days.”
John; “I never had the guts to tell you this, but…I love you Bea.”
Bea; “You do?”
John; “But you know, don’t worry about it, you’ve got Sam, and you two make a perfect couple.”
John returns to the
John and Bea then had a dispute. Bea; “Why? Why didn’t you tell me that you loved me before? And yet you had to tell someone else to tell me to love you?”
John; “Malay mo, ano ba sasabihin mo kung sinabi ko mahal kita?”
Bea; “Di sasabihin ko mahal din kita!” Out of anger Bea runs off while those words of Bea are hammered to his head.
Bea cries, and her sister is there to comfort her, telling her she has to make a decision to choose between “the man of her dreams (Sam) or the man who has been through so much with her (John).”
Months passed, and Bea was invited to tour
Sam; “Do you love me?”
Bea; “I have always loved you, but…”
Sam; “Please, I want a yes or no answer, I deserve it.”
Bea; “I tried to love you, but it’s made me realise, that I’ve missed John so much, and I love him too.” The sad and angry Sam left, leaving Bea alone in tears.
The next day, Bea meets up with Sam. Bea; “I’ve been looking for you, your band member said that I might find you here. I know how hard it feels, but you deserve to know the truth.”
Sam; “Don’t worry about it; I knew I was up for competition between John. It hurts really to know that the girl I’ve only loved is dumping me. But I guess I just have to accept the fact that I’ll never love another as much as I have loved you. Goodbye Bea.” Sam gives Bea a hug, and walks away.
Bea returns to John and she tells John how much she loves him too.
