Sunday...
Well, I’m at home relaxed in front of the television – well was but now I’m blogging. I might say that there are actually a lot of good movies showing. When I say good I mean you know something that I would actually sit down to and watch, for example, the was Take The Lead on HBO around 11am this morning which I believe is now followed by The Da Vinci Code. Switching channels there is then The Pink Panther on Star Movies which just finished and now is showing It’s a Boy Girl Thing. Oh well – I spent my morning/afternoon watching movies, and of course my Sunday would not be complete without watching CSI Supreme Sunday from 12:00 – 3:00PM. Well okay, I only wait for CSI:NY – it’s the best for me! Plus their on Season 4 now (on TV) that is – yes I’m not rich to buy the whole seasons on VCD/DVD.
I guess this is practically how my summer is going to run for the next 2½ months – oh joy. Well, I’m currently watching a new Tagalog soap opera Walang Kapalit – it may not be new in the Philippines but it’s a recent flick. I just finished Volume 1 and just barely starting Volume 2. If anyone is interested to know what the story is about, here is the blurb for Volume 1:
Walang Kapalit
Volume 1
Noel (Piolo Pascual) and Melanie (Claudine Barretto) are siblings but are not related by blood. That’s because Noel’s father, Ariston (Edu Manzano), and Melanie’s mother, Agnes (Dina Bonnevie), are married.
The two children constantly bicker as they resent each other’s presence. The petty quarrels turn into adolescent issues as well. The situation is not helped by Ariston’s favouritism of Melanie over his own son. But this is balanced by the usual dedication showered by the family nanny, Ceding (Amy Austria), on Noel.
A major conflict drives Noel to continue his studies in Australia. Will distance help the siblings miss each other? Will they realise the old adage that hatred is really the brother of love?

I’ll post Volume 2’s blurb when I get around to finish watching it...
Sigh, I’m so sad that I don’t have anymore songs of the day to post – because if any of you readers out there haven’t realised, they’re all from David Archuleta’s collection of songs from American Idol Season 7. Maybe when he releases his album then I can get back on track XD.
Love; Ally.
