I don’t know why, but I’m feeling really sad today...
Maybe it’s the fact that I realised that even the closest of your friends can unintentionally hurt you. What am I saying – of course I have realised this like a long time back already! I don’t know, I was just in a really, really bad mood this morning... Could it be due to the fact that the sun hasn’t shined since Friday morn? Well, it’s not my place to blame Mother Nature for my gloomy mood. So I shall get to it, see, I was supposed to audition for ISB Singing Bees this afternoon. I was happy an excited! I even practised this particular song that I’ve wanted to sing the whole weekend... And along comes a spoiler to ruin the joy and excitement I had with me the whole weekend, thanks a lot... I know I shouldn’t be blaming anything/anyone for pulling me down because in the end it/they don’t matter. I still wanted to audition, but I was too much in a shitty mood to even do so... Sorry for such negative feelings – but I have nowhere to pour out my sadness to but my blog... I have already stopped myself from crying... Only because I came home to the voice and sight of David Archuleta♥ on MTV – yes, such wonders his smile can do to turn my frown the other way ‘round. I think I kind of displayed my ‘bitchy’ side towards English Class early morning, so I apologise to those who have witnessed my short, but sensitive outburst.
ps: I haven’t completely blown away all my misery, but I have smiled :).
Hey, hey to all! Well, I guess you should be happy to hear that I’ve decided to take a little break from my holiday homework and give you the insights of what I have been up to this mid-term. To save you the time... Pretty much nothing has been going on! But if you do want to read on, prepare yourself for a very long post! (Well, I guess it depends on how much depth I go into such events).
Okay let me start on last week Wednesday... It was supposed to be the beginning of Raya Holidays – but unfortunately they weren’t able to spot the moon which I think is ridiculous considering most Muslim countries celebrated Raya on that Wednesday. So unlucky for us, we had to go to school. It was alright actually – we didn’t do anything vigorous. And when I say vigorous I meant nothing mind challenging nor mind blowing! In ITGS we just continued on with the work our teacher had set us from last lesson. Maths, we continued on with our Math Investigation for about 30 minutes after which we played Math Bingo! In English we continued watching ‘Death of a Salesman’ which lead on to Lunch Break. My brothers were happy that there was school today for they get Wednesday treats from my mom – yes, yes, yes... Wednesday’s a keeper. Anyway after lunch break was DT, again nothing much but ‘doing’ stuff...
After school – yes, Nyssa and I were totally looking forward to this time because it’s TODDLER GROUP TIME! Meaning, we get to see our lovely little crush Daniel! Unfortunately there was no toddler group on that day. We were so upset! Well not really, for we got to goof around in school with Diana, Kristy, MayAnne, Tharindu and Valerie! Yeah... We had the whole school to ourselves – it was uttermost FUN :D.
LOVE♥
Thursday was a boring day – well to be honest I cannot remember what I did on Thursday. But then usually if I can’t remember what I have been doing on that day, means that I just stayed home being a pig I guess... How lady of me.
Friday and Saturday pretty much did the same thing which was to stay at home with of course my weekly touch to the sporty side of me – okay I have no idea if that made any sense, but what I meant to say was that I do sports on my weekends.
Friday – 2 hours of Swimming
Saturday – 2 hours of Tennis...
Sunday was a real tire for me, I had a lot of Raya invites but too bad I didn’t manage to go to all (well I only missed one of my invites). First of all, I went to Wana’s place with my family. It was so good to see Wana again! And boy do I love her house – I mean, it has a fricking elevator! I love the goldness of her house too... Oh and the lovely Apple Crumble that she helped her sister make. Simply divine. Well of course after we visited, we had to go move on to our next destination... Our neighbours house (my mom’s friend). They talked for a while and then we headed home for a rest. During this time I was texting Amirah asking if I could get a lift with her to Adam’s open house – well it ended up as me not being able to go because of some complication with timing and stuff... Oh well.
By 5:30pm, we were back on the road again and this time to Shaz’s open house in Jalan Jerudong where I met up with Amirah, Hui Yen and Valerie. We – or well, me rather... I ate a lot of food and on top of that, lots of kebabs as well. What can I say? She serves good food! After Shaz’s we headed on to another one of my Mom’s friends and then it was home sweet home to watch Camp Rock on Disney Channel – I’m not saying that I haven’t watched it before, I have, but I wanted to watch it again XD. LOL – I seriously don’t like Demi Levato, but who says I have to watch it because of her? Of course it’s for Joe Jonas! HAHA.
Bed time after that – was oh so tired.
Monday stayed home, watch TV, do homework...
Tuesday went to Nisa’s open house for lunch where I met up with Sheng, his sister and Nobuko. Ate some food of course while doing so, Nobuko was on Nisa’s wii trying to make Sheng. HAHA, it was so ugly I tell you. Sheng and I talked a bit about our favourite cartoon – Phineas and Ferb and how we said that they should definitely make a Phineas and Ferb Movie while his sister tried to get me to convince my Mom to hold cooking classes for her and her friends. When Nobuko was done on the wii, Sheng took his turn to make me – so not me! HAHA. Sadly I had to go, and when I left, MayAnne came. So unfortunate... But she had Sheng so it should’ve been alright for her ;).
Rested at home for a bit after which I headed on to Amirah’s house for a bit. No she did not have an open house – I just met up with her at her house to go to Adib’s open house. While having food we talked to him and Farah about the KK Trip which ended up to our weekend in Temburong when school began. Amirah and I had to live up to those experiences again by sharing our stories.
After that, Amirah, Farah and I headed on to the Airport to bid adieu to Shaz who was leaving to New Zealand for further studies. I cried a river for her. It was so sad to see yet another friend leaving...
Amirah then hitched a ride with me home – yeah I wanted to rape her. NO LAH! HAHA. We sent her home first, then dinner time for me at my house – duh!
Wednesday again – yes a week had past already and I did nothing once again but stay home and tried to complete a few more assignments – which I never did get to finish anyway. Too many distractions...
Thursday came around and the girls (Cheryl, Nyssa, MayAnne, Valerie and I) decided to meet up in school and do ‘work.’ HAHA. Yeah, do work seriously... Well you know just the fun of seeing each other while doing our work. Cheryl wasn’t able to make it though... But man it was funny... I guess. I mean, Nyssa and I were just sitting opposite each other and we still decided to communicate through our Facebook walls, stalking each other like “You and MayAnne are talking about moles.” HAHA – oh yes, and talking about this ‘haha’ thing in which we type it on walls and stuff but we aren’t actually laughing out loud... More or like, smiling... ;).
Anyway, it was fun getting to see friends in school where nothing is too pressured. Nyssa left first at around noon while the rest of us started leaving around 1pm. And I was back home again – bored as usual and doing my remaining homework assignments.
And look here! It’s Friday today! Yes – I will be pretty much at home for the morning and half of the afternoon where I will then head on to Swimming lessons from 4 – 6PM.
Yes, right now I’m going to predict the future...
Saturday I will be at the Tennis Courts with my lovely ladies from 1 – 4PM. After which I will be at Church with my Family and I will be as usual playing the Violin for the Choir...
Sunday I think... If I am not mistaken, be at home completing anymore unfinished assignments and practically bore myself out for the rest of the day...
Monday I will be waking up at 5:30AM again and jumpstarting myself for school... Oh joy...
Hope you enjoyed my incredibly not-so-long post.
Songs that have been stuck in my head:
Burnin’ Up – Jonas Brothers (2 days before yesterday)
When I Grow Up – Pussycat Dolls (The day before yesterday)
Fall For You – Secondhand Serenade (Yesterday)
7 Things – Miley Cyrus (Today)
I can’t believe Miley Cyrus’ 7 Things is stuck in my head, but I have to admit it is a pretty good song compared to her old Hannah Montana songs...
Yes – I am currently suffering from partial heart attacks from the on going firecrackers here around my street... But all is well, I’m not going to die. So drown in your sorrows haters!!! :P.
I was seriously so pissed off last night when I heard that today wasn’t going to be a school holiday – tsk tsk. I didn’t want to wake up this morning but my mom came in to wake me at 5:30am. I think I stayed in bed for like another 10 minutes or so until she came in again to get me out of bed... Sigh. But nonetheless, today turned out to be a really fun day anyway (after school that is). Diana, Kristy, MayAnne, Nyssa, Tharindu, Valerie & I stayed back supposedly to do “Toddler Group” but apparently there wasn’t any. So we stayed ‘til 4-ish and played around at the library, ICT room and the IB common room.
MID-TERM BABY!!!
Let’s see I shall:
Travel to ALASKA
Take lots of scenery photos of my trip
Sit back and relax while enjoying a cup of Earl Grey Tea with Crumpets on the balcony of my chalet in Alaska
Stay in Brunei...
Do my holiday homework
Be a geek and try to learn all the Capital Cities for all Countries
Sleep lots
Eat Mummy’s good food
Go to Open houses
Convince Daddy to approve of me climbing MountKK (though I myself am having second thoughts about it – I want to climb for the experience and challenge, but a part of me is saying, can I handle it?)
Hang out with friends at school and various places
Pimp up my CAS Diary
Yes, my ideal mid-term would be from 1 to 3... But who says I can’t dream on ;)...
I’m not really good in describing myself because I know they’ll probably turn out to be big fat LIES. But in any case I will describe myself and you decide whether or not what I say is true XD.
For starters, I am Allison Maria Carmen Barrientos Geronimo… Long name right? So that’s where I go by the name Allison or Ally – and the nickname list does not stop there. If you are my friend – you would know all the fun and silly names I have, for example, jOog~, azza and ahly.
I am pure and proud to be Filipino with a hint of Spanish heritage from my mom’s side…and when I say “hint” I mean like a few drops of Spanish blood. I am also and proud and confirmed Roman Catholic – I ♥ JESUS.
In school, I wouldn’t label myself as the invisible dork that hides behind the rest of the crowd nor would I consider myself the most popular person in school. I’m just a neutral highschool girl with my ideal choice of friends that I cherish oh so much. I’m not going to list my besties down to avoid public humiliation or jealousy amongst others – but you know who you guys are :).
You can say I’m a laughaholic for I laugh out loud even at the most randomest moments in my life. People would think I’m utterly weird when I belt out at stuff they don’t even know what I’m laughing at… And that is why I believe inside jokes between my friends and I are the funniest jokes in the world ;).
As much as people love to give me the weirdest nicknames – I too – well I don’t know if the word ‘love’ would correctly describe my passion for nicknaming people – but let’s just say I too give other people nicknames. And I’m sorry to say that most of the nicknaming is kept between my friends and I only to be used when we feel like talking about someone and don’t want others to know who we are talking about.
I am an American Idol addict and my current boyfriend is David Archuleta… ’So long Blake Lewis! I can’t believe you said that David Archuleta was boring! How can you say Chikezie is better than David? Break na tayo Blake!
On a last note, I would like to end my biography by saying that I one day hope to join the Amazing Race Asia in whatever season it is on when I’m 21 years old and hopefully meet Blake Lewis and DAVID ARCHULETA!!!
xxallyy.
