THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS ARE HERE!
Well - I wouldn't actually call it a holiday...
Oh yes, I would NEVER call it a holidays when you know you've got this truck loads of work following behind. I guess with IB nothing is ever going to be easy. I mean, come on! It's Christmas! Now I wouldn't mind 'Christmas-related' work, but no siree!
Anyway, it had been a hectic last week for me...
Insomnia and stuff - some for no reason at all...
And for others... I just don't even want to say it.
Come 2 weeks before, a certain someone (who shall be left unnamed) and I had this petty fight. He called me immature and claimed that he was just joking around. Who in the world claims it was a joke when he used a serious tone and just walks off after sayi
ng it? It just pisses me off. Caught him bitching about me too last Wednesday was it? Yeah, around that time, last week of school. I don't know yet if I'm going to forgive him... We'll just have to wait and see...
Another hetic story of my life begins here:
It was Tuesday 2nd December 2008 where the hard work
began... Well not really - it started over the weekend really where I had just really pulled myself together after some 'misunderstandings' - well, that's what I thought it was at least. Anyway, I was busy working on my assignments over the weekend that were due that last week of school.
Anyway - here it goes. There I was on a Monday night at the dining room table completing my Art Project ready for presentation on Tuesday. I had a sleepless night that day - but it wasn't about the presentation that I was worried about. I was more worried about getting my visual arts diary up to date. Tuesday came and already I was a bit stressed out AFTER my art presentation. Seriously, I actually thought my artworks would lead me into the right direction - I mean, at least I knew that it would. But Mr. Peacocke didn't think of it that way which annoyed me to the max. Now I'm going to have to find myself again after he sank my passion of Photography down the sewerage. After art - more troubles came. This time he WON'T be unnamed. He's been too much of a promise-breaker to not mention him. Anyway, ITGS lesson came and last Friday, Shawn and I were paired up. We decided to do 2 sections each for our presentation topic on Film that we were to present the following day. Okay, so I was actually paired up with Shawn because he was leaving the following day and Ms. Hancox knew I could handle giving presentations alone. By the end of the lesson, Shawn comes up to me and says that he hasn't finished the other section and told me to do it. I gave him 'the look' and said to him: "I am already doing 2 sections as we promised we'd do, and the 2 topics that I am already doing are the hard, essay type ones!" So Shawn agreed that he'd TRY to complete his section before he's due to fly off on holiday.
So that night I waited. I text messaged him at around 4-ish asking for his part of the work. And he says: "Hey. I'm packing now. Chances are I can't do it. But if I have the chance to go online tonight, I'll meet you and do it. If not, I'll treat you to dinner when I get back."
WTF I thought to myself. And don't think that that was the last I heard from him - I kept bugging him for the other part of the work. It was the only thing missing at this point of time...
Shawn: "Hey! I could not do it. I had trouble packing and travel stuffs like passports. Are you in a hurry? I don't think I can do it by 9."
Ally: "If possible by 10 then? I'm staying up til 10pm just as long as you do it. Like don't make me stay up for you to tell me that you didn't do it."
---
Ally: "Your work? It's 10pm."
Shawn: (At 10:30pm) "It's not done. I can't get it done. T.T"
Ally: "OMG Shawn. Get it done. I can't wait anymore. Send it to my email and I will open it up in school tomorrow before IT."
---
Shawn: (The next day) "Leave it out. I can't get it done."
Seriously Shawn, I don't care if you're getting pissed if you're reading this blog - chances are anyway that you won't be reading it. At least in my own personal achievement, I was able to expose your 'true' devious nature. I can't believe you let me down...
Anyway what a hassle, NEVER again am I going to work with you Shawn. Moving on, that wasn't the only hectic moment I experienced - beside the fact that he made me stay up pissed me off - I still had other stuff to worry about which were my DT Egg Protector Project and TOK Presentation due on the same day --- Thursday.
Wednesday night I had another sleepless night doing my DT Project - I wasn't worrying much about TOK since Nyssa and I had finished it on Tuesday afterschool when I stayed back to complete it with her. Anyway, that night I wasn't able to complete everything - just the drawings and the writing up of my evaluation in that case. So even up til school I was working like a mad woman on my Project. Finally I had it done before lunch break was over and handed it over to Mr. Baird. Next up came TOK where Mr. Holmes pushed our TOK Presentations to the first week back after the holidays... Oh la... Making us work hard for nothing. Oh well, I guess it's for the best - that way Nyssa and I can find other stuff to put into our Presentation - that is, if we even have the fricking time on top of our other holiday homework assignments...
Anyway - where was I? Oh yes... Friday... dare I say anything about Friday? Well, the hard work was over by then...
Saturday the usual Tennis lessons where I learnt from Coach Then that I was like a rollercoaster. One week good, one week lazy... I guess I could also apply that to my daily life and not just Tennis XD.
OMG SORRY I JUST HAVE TO CUT HERE FOR A WHILE...
A CAR PULLED UP IN THE DRVIE-WAY...
AND GUESS WHAT?
IT WAS MY DAD BACK FROM INDONESIA!
WE HAD NO IDEA...
Anyway... Okay about that - It was just a really emotional time seeing as we've never seen each other since August and now he's here... So yes, where was I? Oh yeah - Sunday. Finally after a long, LONG time I was able to go out to the Mall and spend some quality family day fun. DANGER! Here comes Ally to the Mall! (Danger on my mom's wallet that is) I haven't been to Bingo in a while - and by doing so, I burnt a hole in my mom's and my wallet XD. I met Yesmean and Ann Lau at Bingo too :) Anyway, I shall leave you with pictures from the stuff I bought at Bingo (There were more but I couldn't be bothered to take a photo, mind you too I only had my phone at the time so quality ain't that good):
